wow!!  I'm better today... I've been very upset lately and I did write a post yesterday, never published it thank goodness.  It was very ucky.

 

But tomorrow... my Bro is coming in from California!!   Wahoo!!  I only get to see him for a couple of hours tomorrow before his dad keeps him from us.   Meanie!!  What does he think it's it's wedding weekend or something?  Tee hee ha ha

 

so we are going to have Lots of fun and laughs and then at his mom and my dad's house (confused yet?).  then back to my house for a slumber party!!   3 of the 4 brothers will be there!!  I'm so freakin excited!!  

 

Gotta run... I'm so far behind in work it's not funny!  Just another one of my side effects of being depressed lately.   I don't work well either.  

 

But I'm gonna try and keep on the sunny side.... I know there is an old country/blues*grass song about that!

PS thanks for all your kindness regarding the dog house.   I have a question... anybody know of a dog water dis:h that will not allow the water to freeze but no electricity is needed?   Keep your ears and eyes peeled for me if you would.  ThankS!

 

Well we took the Dog House up this weekend.   I took some photos to show you before and after.   I did get him a longer lighter chain as well oh and two huge bags of Cedar Chips.  When I went back the next day to feed and check on him, you could just see how happy he was by his eyes. 

 

I might get into heaven for this one!   But I'm not holding my breath. (tee hee ha ha )

 

HOPEFULLY this brought the dog back to the minds of the humans (aka morons) and HOPEFULLY they will actually start to care for him better.   We had to sledge hammer the old dog house as it was frozen in the ground.   I took the Dog for a walk since that's the only thing of his and I wasn't sure what his reaction would be to seeing it demolished.  By the way.... the dog has never been for a walk before.  I had a clothesline with a clasp on it and I tried to "lunge" him like a horse to get him a bit worn down so that I could actually walk him.   HE WAS IN HEAVEN!

O.K. so wondering why I love St. Patty's so much!  Well I've been celebrating that holiday my entire life.  It's fun people are always happy that day.   I claim that as my global diversity day.  Some get MLK day off, I get st. patty's day!  Wahoo!!   Oh and check out the link     http://irish.claremichigan.com/  This is the town that I will be celebrating the holiday at this year.   I went for the first time last year and HOLY COW!  what a blast!  Going back for more fun and memories this year!  Cant wait!  and just think it's only.... 53 More days till St. Patrick's Day!!   Wahoo!!   ERIN GO BRAGH!

Wow!  It's been a while eh?   Sorry bout that.   I've been kinda crazy busy with month end, year end and quarter end stuff at work and oh yes still being super daughter and wife.  Tee hee! 

 

Well I've taken matters into my own hands.  As my hubby says... .She's saving the world one critter at a time.  And that's about right.   I'm building a dog house for the neighbor's dog.  It's going to be super nice.   I'm so happy that he's going to have some great shelter.   YEA for Dallas!   Wahoo!!  I'm not kidding you guys this thing is the mack daddy of dog houses... o.k. well I've seen better on line for sale at $5,000!   So it's not that nice but for this old boy its perfect!  Insulation between the walls,  raised floor off the ground and big but not too big and just great.  I'll take a photo before it leaves our shop.  Super cool.  Oh and get this all of the materials (except paint and insulation) were donated.   HOW COOL IS THAT??!?!    It's really amazing what you can acomplish if you just go out and start talking to people and since talking to people is one of my greatest God given gifts, well there ya go!

 

Oh I had to watch my sisters lil man last night.  FUN!!   At bed time he says prayers and I forgot all about that.  Bad Aunt!   He kept saying R faddah.....R faddah.... And finally I got it... he was waiting for me to say the Our Father... (too funny)... I well um ahhhh YEP... drew a blank... Gone ... Whoosh.... yep going straight to hell for that one.   2.5 yr old trying to say praryers and bad aunt cant remember it!  BAD BAD BAD... So I remembered most of it and we said it together and then I stopped to think of the rest and he looks at me and says "AMEN!"  O.k. then!     Love that kid! 

 

Mom's doing pretty good, she's been doing some pet sitting which is cool.  It really helps her to keep her spirits up. 

 

Our weather is cold and snowy... i keep hearing people complain about it and blah blah blah and it's funny because the last time I checked... We still live in Michigan, It's still January, and yep it's always cold and snowy in Jan and Feb in Michigan... so just deal with it people.  Geesh! 

 

O.K. I'm still crazy busy and the boss wants me to explain to him again... how to check the weather forcast on the computer.... HA! amazing.... He a flippin genius and that stumps him.    Tee hee... Off to work I go!  Take care everybody!

Howdy all!

 

I don't know if you remember me telling you, but my Mom is living with me now.  It's been a struggle for us all, but it has also had it's joy too!   I see her slipping into this depression and it's killing me.   My psycho sister and her son called her last weekend and cussed my mom out and told her things that should have never been said to a mom and grandmother.  grrr!    And she's been in a funk ever since.  

 

I'm tyring to help her find things to do with her time.  She says she's fine, but I can clearly see that she is not.   I'm trying to talk her into doing some volunteer work and such.   She said that doesn't pay the bills.  You're right it does not.   However, it does give you purpose and to fulfill the need to help others and to occupy your time.  But here's the thing with that, it has to be a positive thing.  I can't have her getting more depressed over seeing people that need help. 

So now what? 

 

I found some organizations that need some behind the scenes help.   I just hope she at least gives it a try.   Who knows what will come out of it.

 

Oh and I asked the sister with lil man if Mom could watch the boy 1 day a week.   I see that as a win win situation, and she has to talk it over with her man, which she has not done yet and I don't know why I've asked her every week for 2 months now.   I don't get her sometimes.  grrr!    I also asked sister in meantime, can we maybe have a lunch date with the me her and mom once a week, I even offered to pay.  She wasn't sure that would work either.  I'm starting to think I have two psycho sisters.  grrr!!!  I know they are both selfish as hell but both psycho?  Holy cow what does that make me?  

 

So what to do? 

Any suggestions that you can come up with would be appreciated.

Wow 2008 is here!!  Crazy!  My holiday's were great.  I didn't find a permanent home for the kitty, DARN but my vet is keeping her until he or I can.  THANK GOODNESS!   The dog has been fed by me and his owners, his house has been made safer by me and warmer with some cedar chips.  And he loved the toys!

 

The family that we donated presents to hopefully enjoyed their gifts.  We did not meet them, we dropped the gifts at the community sharing center and the pastor said he would be sure she got them.  AMEN!  

 

We have had a ton of snow here in Michigan this past couple of weeks.  Up north where there is usually snow they have about 2.5 feet and here in our little town "down state" we got about 16 inches.  WHEW!  Snowmobiles are everywhere. 

 

I've just gotten back to work, ugh!  and I'm super busy!  I just wanted to say thanks to all for your thoughts, your prayers and your well wishes.   They were heard and appreciated.

 

I hope all of your dreams come true in this new year!
